Irish tourism is heavily reliant on North American visitors and their wallets and the volatile economic signals from the US have caused industry leaders some concern.
The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) caught up with Alison Metcalfe to talk about Tourism Ireland’s plans to stimulate demand in the US and increase business from Canada on the back of excellent transatlantic air access.
