Opened in June 2022, Beyond the Trees Avondale in Co. Wicklow fits this description perfectly and the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) caught up with Operations Manager Katherine Webster to discuss how the first few months have gone. A €19 million investment by Coillte, Fáilte Ireland and EAK, the visitor experience includes an immersive interpretive centre, a 1.4 km-long treetop walkway through the forest, and a remarkable 40 metre-high viewing tower.
