Tourism Manifesto outlines 7 key pillars and calls for sector to be elevated by next Government

Today the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) publishes its Tourism Manifesto which outlines the key areas that the next Government must focus on to support the country’s largest indigenous industry and biggest regional employer.

A Whole of Government Approach, Competitiveness, Connectivity, Political Configuration, Capacity, Investment and Sustainability are the 7 pillars of ITIC’s Tourism Manifesto.

ITIC argues that the sector can grow and meet its environmental obligations but only if the enabling policies are brought into effect by the next Government following the impending General Election.
