ITIC Investigates – Lisdoonvarna and the effect of a loss of hotel beds to a tourism town

There has been much talk recently about the impact on the tourism industry of Government contracts with hotels to accommodate Ukrainian refugees and asylum seekers.

The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation travelled to Lisdoonvarna in County Clare to see first-hand how the town has been affected by a loss of its tourism accommodation. This 10-minute film reveals the stark impact of Government policy.
