IATA’s Willie Walsh talks about aviation’s recovery and its commitment to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions
As a global pandemic recedes, an existential environmental challenge looms. Aviation is fortunate that ex-Aer Lingus and IAG boss Willie Walsh is at the helm of IATA, the global airline trade association.
The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) recently spoke with Willie to hear his views on how Governments are now more rational about Covid-19, how the airline industry is positive about recovery, and how aviation has a credible roadmap to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
